This week, we are coming towards the end of our Geometry topic in maths. We explored different patterns with a range of resources, focusing on different shapes, sizes and colours to complete a pattern. We established a pattern is something that repeats itself continuously.
In religion this week, we have focused on the story of: Shepherds visit the infant Jesus from Luke 2:8-20. As a class we discussed the message the angels sent and the importance of this message. We then made angels of our own. We know that the angels bring a message of peace, teaching us to be kind to others and work together for a better world in connection with the catholic social teaching principle: Solidarity & Peace.
In Art, we have also been working hard on our wonderful Christmas crafts! We will be selling our crafts in the New Conference Room and can’t wait to see you all there for what will be a joyous occasion as a school community!
