We made it! Our first term in Year 1! We have worked really hard all term but had a lot of fun along the way! Miss Clarke and Miss Donnelly have been extremely impressed with how the children have given 100% effort in everything they have been asked to do!
This last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming our school nurses into the classroom who showed us the importance of handwashing! We did two different experiments, which showed us if we do not wash our hands properly there could still be germs sitting on our hands! It was a very informative and engaging workshop!
In History, we got to bring in one of our favourite toys! We have been looking at the differences and similarities throughout this term from the 1950s and today. We shared our toys with the class and why it was our favourite and compared our toys to what our grandparents would have played with.
