This week Year 1 put on their gardening gloves and had a lesson with our environmental teacher Sofia. They learnt all about what a plant needs to grow. They were all given herb seeds to plant in soil. The children then had the opportunity to smell delicious herbs such as coriander, basil and mint from the garden. Some of them even took some of the yummy mint home!
