Year 1 Amber and Orange classes were busy last week designing, making and testing their vehicles as part of their Design & Technology learning this term. We were lucky also that the Year 6 children were able to support us in adapting our vehicles when any problems arose. The children learned about wheels, axles and axle-holders, as well as the chassis of a vehicle. We were so impressed with how creative their design were and the children were excited to see their vehicles moving!
I think we have many future engineers and designers in Year 1!
