The Year One pupils have been working hard all week and with St. Joseph’s and St. Patrick’s day this week it was even more reason to celebrate a wonderful week in Year One.
This week in Math’s, we looked at mass and volume and how scales work.
In English, we continued working on our book, ‘Hermelin’ which involved looking at conjunctions as well as learning about adverbs and some awesome alliteration!
In Geography, the pupils learned about the rainforest and the animals and people that live in the rainforest.
To round up a fantastic week of learning the children learned about St. Joseph in preparation for Sunday and the feast of St. Joseph. The children even got an ice-pop to celebrate such a great week!
