This week, in PE one of our new topics this term is: Target Games. We began by learning about the underarm throw and the technique required to be successful. We worked on this independently and then competed with our friends to see who could hit the target, whilst showing some great accuracy and precision!
In Art, we have been exploring the artist Clarice Cliff! We used paint and primary colours to make Clarice Cliff circles and then mixed some of those to create secondary colours. We then developed our Art work further, by using a straw to blow our paint which created unique designs! The children had a lot of fun and loved exploring their creative sides!
We ended our week, with a lovely Celebration of the Word based on the story: The Parable of the Sower. We discussed how the story was talking about us opening our hearts to God, listening to God, thinking about God, and then growing in faith with God. Our mission is to spread the word of God in our community and beyond by sharing a prayer we made together.
