This week has been a brilliant week for the children in Reception. They have really been challenging themselves and showing ‘can do’ attitudes. We have been on a train ride in our imaginations this week, thinking of all the different things we could see. Children attempted writing full sentences and some even used adjectives!
In maths we have been learning about halving, odd numbers and even numbers. Ask your children to show you how to share equally between two! They have loved having teddy bear picnics and doing good sharing.
Ruby class have now settled in and are loving their new room!

This week our homework is to look inside mummy’s and daddy’s wallets and look at all the different coins they have and how much they are worth.
As always please continue practising your counting, recognising numbers, counting in 2s and 10s.
