In Year 4 this week, we planned an experiment to find out which drinks were best for your teeth and which were the worst.
We used eggs in their shells to act as our teeth and placed them in varying liquids; water, milk, vinegar, coke and orange juice.
The children made predictions as to which drink they thought would have the worst affect on the egg shell. Many thought it would be the coke due to the sugar and vinegar due to the acidity.
