Year 1 have had an amazing first week back after Christmas.
We have discussed a lot of our favourite fiction and non-fiction books. Thinking about things we want to learn about and also remembering stories that bring us happiness. We can now identify the differences between fiction and non-fiction books, and we can say some of the key features too!
In maths we have been learning how to tell the time. This week we focused on o’clock and half past. We can tell the difference between the hour hand and the minute hand and are becoming very confident with reading the time of day.
