We have had a wonderful week in Nursery exploring our new key text ‘Whatever next’ by Jill Murphy. The children have been engaged in a wide range of space themed activities including space writing using torches, mark making in cloud dough, retelling and role playing the text, learning about characters, the setting and even naming and describing the events that took place in the story. We will continue with our space theme into next week and we will see where our learning takes us thereafter!
In phonics this week we explore the /t/ and /p/ phonemes (sounds).
