We have been learning that community means everyone coming together and playing their part.
Today we learned about the valuable work that a range of adults in our school community do. Some of the adults in our school community came to talk to us about what they do in their job. We discussed what would happen to the school if those people did not do their work! Can you imagine if broken things were never fixed? What if the bills for our resources and trips weren’t paid? How about not having lessons prepared for us? What would we do if nobody cooked us our lunch?
To show how much we value their work we each made a ‘Thank You’ card for a member of our school community. We then went in person to these St Joseph’s VIPs to deliver our cards and say, “Thank You!”
