Year 2 have certainly enjoyed returning to school after the Easter holidays with a variety of new topics awaiting them!
In Maths we have begun learning about fractions understanding equal and unequal parts, we also explored equal parts of different amounts and discussed how this connected to different fractions.
We have also launched our new topic of ‘Wonder Women’, exploring women who have had an impact on the world we live in today. We are definitely looking forward to finding out more information about these magnificent women as we go through the term!
Lastly, we also enjoyed wearing red on Friday to celebrate the Feast Day of St George!
