We have been up to all sorts in Nursery this week (we only had to wear our school uniform on two days!)
On Tuesday, we celebrated pancake day. We took part in lots of activities including decorating pancakes with different shapes, making play dough pancakes and even preparing toppings for and tasting our very own pancakes. We were also very lucky to take part in the whole school pancake races and worked really hard in our teams to complete the relay without dropping the pancake on the floor!
On Thursday, we had an extremely exciting day! We had the opportunity to come to school dressed as our favourite book characters to celebrate world book day. We talked about each of the characters and shared our favourite stories with one another. We were so proud to show off our amazing costumes when we attended the assembly to present the lucky winners with their awards.
Finally, on Friday, we all came to school dressed in yellow to celebrate St David’s Day. Miss Rees told us all about Wales, the country she is from. We talked about the symbols of Wales and looked at the different things celebrated on St David’s Day in Wales. We also made daffodil art collages, use play dough to make our very own welsh dragons and talked about famous welsh people.
Thank you to all parents and carers for the support they have given us over this eventful but very successful week in Nursery!
