Welcome back Orange and Amber Class!
Year 1 have had a fantastic week settling back into school in their classes with Miss McCarron and Miss Dwyer.
The children have had lots of fun exploring the new areas in their classroom. We’ve been enjoying counting using hungry caterpillars, parking vehicles and jumping in ‘muddy puddles’ and showing off the sounds we already know in phonics. We have been exploring our feelings about coming back to school with our story ‘The Colour Monster’ and finding our inner zen with afternoon yoga. What a brilliant week it has been!
We are very excited for the year ahead!
