Well, that’s one week done already with only four to go – and what a lot of work there is to do before half term.
Mr Groarke and Mr Prescott were pleased to see that the children had returned with an eagerness to learn.
So far this week, we have covered reading techniques for the comprehension paper and then allowed the children a chance to prove what they learnt by tackling a reading paper on their own.
In Science, the children looked closely at the four chambers of the heart and how they help to pump blood around the body.
In Current Affairs, the children examined who is responsible for Internet content taking vloggers as a starting point.
Anyone can be a vlogger these days, but who regulates them? It was an interesting discussion which highlighted just how influential these vloggers can be. This is likely to come up in our Current Affairs lesson again.
