A huge welcome back to Year 5! We have had a wonderful week settling back into school life.
We have been introduced to all our new topics, including, ‘Invaders and Settlers’; we have started learning about the Anglo Saxons.
The children created their own Anglo Saxon bookmarks. They wrote their names in Anglo Saxon runes and used Anglo Saxon designs to decorate them. In addition to this, the children also created secret messages to give to their friends. There were a few confused faces (in a good way) amongst the children in Indigo and Tanzanite Class on Friday afternoon 🙂
