Last week, our Year 2 pupils made an absolutely AMAZING start to the new school year! All of the staff have been impressed by their enthusiasm, participation and ambition in lessons. In Maths, we recapped place value in numbers to 50 and we are pleased that the children are actively embracing the chilli challenge. In Religion, we carefully considered why our school mission statement and school prayer are so important. It was lovely to read some nice reflections from the children.
In addition to this, their kindness and manners towards others have been exceptional to say the least. As a result, playtimes have been fun and enjoyable with children making full use of the beautiful outdoor spaces.
To all the Year 2 parents, thank you so much for all your support thus far. We are really looking forward to getting to know you more over the course of the year!
