Welcome back! We are so excited to begin the summer term — time really does fly when you’re having fun!
What an exciting first week it’s been. We’ve launched our new theme for this half term: Animals and Their Habitats. The children were fascinated as we explored a variety of animals that live in the rainforest. Using our Phase 2 and 3 phonics sounds, we even had a go at writing about them.
We were also incredibly lucky to enjoy a special visit from The Animal Club. The children had the amazing opportunity to meet and touch a range of reptiles, and some even bravely held a snake! It was such an exciting moment that brought our topic to life.
In Maths, we’ve been getting hands-on with measuring and comparing length. The children enjoyed ordering objects from shortest to longest.
We can’t wait to see what the rest of the term has in store!
