Where did the summer holidays go?! It has been a pleasure welcoming all of the children back to school and seeing their smiling faces again, we know that this important year may just be the best one yet! The children have displayed a mature attitude to their learning this week and have been fantastic role models for their new Year 5 children, both inside the school and on the playground – well done! We look forward to what is an important half term with open minds and a positive attitude, knowing that the sky is the limit for our wonderful children and that God’s love will help us on our journey.
This week the children have been getting to know their new teachers and supporting adults, whilst at the same time adjusting to school routine once again. Year 6 wrote letters to their teachers explaining what their hobbies are, what makes them happy but also what changes they would like to make in order to improve our world. The Year 6 team have been very impressed with their ideas.
Reminder:
Homework is handed out on a Friday and is to be completed by Wednesday.
Year 6 PE days are Monday and Friday.
Have a wonderful weekend,
The Year 6 Team.
