What a beautiful start to Thursday morning! Violet Class presented a wonderful prayer service reflecting on our Religious learning from this term. We remembered the creation story from Genesis 2 and reflected on Yahweh’s thoughts and feelings after creating ha’adam from the dust of the earth. Children also shared their Psalms of thanks and praise for God’s creation. In addition, we shared our concerns for the world today, based on our learning from the Pope’s encyclical Laudato Si. Finally, we ended with our pledges, promising to make simple changes in our everyday lives to help us live more simply, sustainably and in solidarity with the poor. What will your pledge be?
