It’s never a dull moment in Year 4.
The children have had two excellent assemblies this week from the NSPCC and Arsenal on staying safe and diversity respectively. See our Twitter posts for pictures @stjhighgate
This week saw the beginning of our new science topic: sound. The children experimented with lots of different instruments including the violin and tambourine and discussed how sound is made and heard. Keywords such as vibrations and airwaves were used to articulate key scientific concepts.
With the General Election looming, the children have been thinking about how they would run the country. After deliberating over several ideas, they settled down to write their very own manifestos which will be used in a corridor display to explain what will be happening on June 8th.
Have a great bank holiday weekend. Hopefully, it’s not a wash-out.
