On Tuesday Year 1 went on a trip to London Zoo. We had a fantastic time looking at reptiles, amphibians, mammals, birds and insects. In our workshop we found out how animals can use their colour and pattern to camouflage themselves either to hide from their prey and catch them unawares or to hide from a predator. We also learned that not all penguins live in Antarctica and we saw 80 of them on penguin beach. What a fantastic day out!
