This week in Year 1 we have been doing some fantastic learning. In Maths we were looking at using greater and less than signs when comparing different amounts. We found it a bit tricky at first but after lots of practical work we can confidently use them now.
In English we were using brilliant adjectives in our writing to describe the heroes and villains from Little Red Riding Hood. We were even able to sequence and retell the different parts of the story.
This week the children were introduced to a new initiative by Change4Life that takes inspiration from Star Wars. We had to master the ways of the Jedi with the play along video by learning twelve moves taught to us by Taekwondo Olympian Jade Jones. Please see the link below and have a go for yourself!
