Week 2: Done. Wow, where is the time going?
It has been another busy week in Year 6, with the children working hard on revising Place Value in Maths; inferring meaning from a still image in English and having fun dressing up on Roald Dahl Day – congratulations to Lucy in Amethyst and Lola in Violet for winning ‘Best Cosutme’ in our year group. This week in our science lesson, the children took part in an investigation all to do with our topic ‘Living Things and Their Habitats.’ The children explored our wonderful outdoor area and took note of all the vertebrates and invertebrates they could find – we think we discovered some spider eggs too!
Lastly, congratulations to Bianca and Narelle for winning Star of the Week and to Ryan G and Ryan O for winning the Dojo Award. Keep up the good work!
