This week in Year 2 we have continued with our learning about position, direction and movement. We have used different games to support us in this learning and also went into the playground so that we could provide our partner with a series of movements to follow.
In Science we learnt about different types of habitats including oceans, deserts, rainforests and the Arctic. We researched the different climates, plants and animals that live in these habitats and why they are suited to them.
In Topic we created our own lanterns in the style of the one Florence Nightingale famously used when treating soldiers during the Crimean War.
