This week we had a great time learning about instructions in English. We had to make our own jam sandwich using instructions that we wrote ourselves. We had to think about verbs we were going to use and even including some time connectives to sequence our instructions. We were all very skilled sandwich makers in Year 1 and followed our instructions extremely well- we even got to eat our yummy sandwiches!
On Friday we also had a Caritas afternoon where we looked at the topic of Families and Communities. We discussed how to recognise St. Joseph’s as a community!
We look forward to seeing all parents/carers at next Thursday’s parent’s evening.
