Looking out of the window with the sun in the sky is a great way to be ending our week in Year 4.
Spring seems to have finally sprung, and we were lucky enough to sow our Sunflower seeds with Sophia in the garden this week. Ensure, you keep them inside near the window and water them regularly whilst they begin to grow. Later in the term, we will be having a competition for the biggest and best sunflowers- Good Luck greenfingers!
The children in Year 4 have really enjoyed getting political this week, learning all about the General Election.
They have written their own manifesto’s with their own ideas of how they would run the country- from banning the sale of cigarettes to reducing the amount of hours we have to work and go to school (surely not!).
They have started filming their manifesto’s and it has been great fun.
We have been discussing all the different candidates, but so far LORENZO wins our vote!
We’ve also been learning how to tell the time in our Maths lessons this week. So this would be the perfect time to get your hands on your own wrist watch. Why not test the children’s knowledge using digital and analogue clocks this weekend?
