This week, Year 5 children learned about the story of the Resurrection according to Matthew. We compared the differences between the Gospels of Matthew and Luke, and took notes on the way they presented their accounts of the event. As we are focusing on Matthew’s Gospel during our topic of ‘Easter to Pentecost,’ the children created posters showing the characters, setting and scripture references from his version of the Resurrection.
