Last week, Year 2 went on an exciting educational adventure to the famous London landmark: The Monument!
We enjoyed travelling through London on the bus, seeing many sights along the way, as our excitement built. With full stomachs and lots of energy, we climbed the 311 steps (!!!) to reach the summit, where we were truly blown away by the sensational views. We also met Robert Hooke, a key figure in designing the historic building, and learned many new facts linked to the Great Fire of London.
We were so proud of how the children represented our school and we cannot wait for our next adventure. Thank you to all of the parent helpers and to those who offered their support.
Well done Year 2!
