As we enter the month of November, Year 5 have begun their new topic on The Great War.
The children were fascinated by this topic and provided plenty of enthusiasm in their first couple of lessons.
As well as being a symbol of remembrance, our poppies gave the children the opportunity to share what they already know about World War One.
On Friday afternoon during ‘Arty Friday’, the children took to their sketch books and begun their World War One drawings with a soldier.
