What a Christmassy week we have had in Year 2! We began our week with a trip to the local post box but it was not just any trip… we posted our Santa letters and even met the postman who told us he will help deliver our letters all the way to the North Pole!!
We were then joined by a surprise visit from the man himself.. Santa!! Who delivered us lots of new games for us to play at wet break!
The fun did not stop there though! We all dressed up in our nativity costumes and sang our Christmas carols beautifully for you all at home to see very soon!
In Religion we acted out a scene from the nativity retelling the story of the birth of Jesus and also used our creativity to make our own Tudor houses in Design & Technology for The Great Fire of London.
Lastly, we were spoilt with another special visit! This time from the Ark Farm, which included a collection of animals we would find in the nativity (with a special addition of a very cute Labrador)! The children really enjoyed meeting and petting all of the animals!
