In Maths this week Year 6 have been learning all about angles. In particular, we investigated the angles in different types of triangle. All week, the children have impressed us with their protractor and problem solving skills. We have learnt about angles in:
-right-angled triangles
-scalene triangles
-isosceles triangles
-equilateral triangles
Click on the link below to see James’ (Amethyst) impressive visual explanation of why the angles in a triangle total 180 degrees, using coding on Scratch:

The sun was shining today (Friday) and so we were able to take our Maths (and chalks, protractors and meter rulers) into the playground! The children applied everything learnt this week and wowed us with their accurate measurements and sound understanding. Well done Year 6!
