In Year 1 we have been boosting our Learning Powers! This week, our focus was on being ‘Collaborators.’ We have been doing small group research using non-fiction books in English, making world maps in geography and getting to grips with number bonds whilst following the rules of a game in mathematics. Even our parents collaborated with us during our ‘Stay and Learn’ geography challenge! Throughout the week we have been working with different learning partners and developing our teamwork skills including listening, taking turns and valuing others’ contributions. We found that teamwork really does make the dream work!
