This week has been another busy one for our Year 5 pupils!
On Thursday, Tanzanite class celebrated mass and were joined by Father Pat and some of their parents. The mass fell on the feast day of St Matthew and the children shared facts that they had found out about him. It was a very informative mass as well as being very peaceful and moving. The children sung their hearts out and one parent was brought to tears. A huge well done to all children in Tanzanite Class!
Friday afternoon saw the children transform into planets, the sun and moon. In order to fully understand the concept of the Earth orbiting the sun, both Tanzanite and Indigo class ventured outside and began spinning around one another. It was thoroughly enjoyable to watch and we hope the children have regained their balance!
