A group of Year 5 and 6 children took part in a swimming gala. The children were so excited as for some of them it was their first opportunity to swim competitively. They were overwhelmed by the amount of other children there to take part too. The squad got off to a great start with Bianca, Year 5, winning the breast stroke heat. The children showed great sporting character as they competed to the best of their ability in all races. The squad finished the competition with the Year 6 girl’s relay team coming in at second place. We are now all set to compete in the final!
