This week in Year 2 we have been working hard in Maths on counting on and back in groups of 10. The children used their 100 square, place value mats and dienes to help them with this and they achieved amazing outcomes!
In English, we have continued to explore different forms and styles of poetry. We discussed the best adjectives to use for our poems about autumn and ‘what we have been doing lately.’ We were so impressed with the children’s hard work and amazing vocabulary – well done!
