On Wednesday two year 6 Digital Leaders went down to nursery Pearl Class!
In Pearl class, Daniel and I (Akira) had a really fun time talking and chatting to the younger children. We told them a story on how to stay safe online. The story was about a small penguin called Smartie.
The small penguin got a brand-new iPad for his Birthday. Smartie was so excited to show all his friends and family the new iPad that he got for his birthday. He loved his new iPad as soon as his mum got him onto the internet he started to play his fun games Smarty was looking at pictures of polar bears when an evil, angry, polar bear picture came up on his screen. Smarty panicked; he did not know what to do but he thought about what his mum and dad said. You must stay safe online so Smarty made the right choice and told his parents about what happened.
We told the nursery children a song about staying safe online and I think they enjoyed it. After that, they started to make pictures about who they could trust if they had a problem online.
Remember when you Find a problem online you should always take a screenshot, report and tell a trusted adult.
