Starting Reception

This week we have been continuing with our ‘All About Me’ topic. The children have enjoyed listening to ‘You Choose’ by Nick Sharratt, and collaging their own books of all their favourite things. We have explored the differences and similarities between children all around the world by reading ‘Hello World’ and ‘Children Around the World’, and sharing videos of ourselves saying ‘hello’ in different languages. To finish this week, we introduced the children to ‘Helicopter Stories’, where they make up their own stories and act them out to the class. A busy week was had and enjoyed by all!
