This week in Year 5,the children met with Sophia to prepare for the annual sunflower growing competition. Having taken part in the competition for a number of years now,the children were extremely knowledgable about the potting process and were experts when quizzed by Sophia. Year 5 were also encouraged to think ‘out of the box’ when repotting their sunflowers. Some suggestions were watering cans, buckets and even a wellie boot! Fingers crossed we have some green fingered children in Year 5 whose sunflowers will outshine the rest! Happy Growing!
