This week, Year 5 enjoyed a series of engaging activities!
First, parents visited the classes to learn about online safety. It was a great way for students to connect with their parents while learning valuable life skills.
The classes then had the chance to journey through space with the Wonderdome, a mobile planetarium. Inside the dome, students explored the solar system, learning about planets, stars, and space exploration in a fully immersive environment.
Year 5 also participated in the Young Speakers Challenge, where the students presented persuasive speeches. We were so impressed with their confidence and ability to persuade, inform, and entertain.
Lastly, the week wrapped up with a creative 3D Discovery session, where students made comic book strips to teach others about internet safety. This fun and educational project allowed them to use their imagination while reinforcing important lessons.
It was a week packed with exploration, creativity, and learning—an unforgettable experience for Year 5!
