This week in English, Year 5 have been looking at the Poem ‘Sir Autumn’ by Grace Nichols.
Each of the children made sure their poem included personification and some children even wrote about all four seasons – Sir Autumn, Lady Winter, Baby Spring and Mr Summer!
On Friday, the children transferred their writing skills in to Art skills and created wonderful pieces of artwork based on their Seasonal Poem.
