This week, Year 6 learnt some truly mind-blowing Science! Using this new knowledge, the children we able to create secret messages!
“The blue writing in our messages reflect blue light. When we looked at the blue writing through a red filter, the blue light is absorbed, so the writing appears black and stands out. ” – Grace O
“The red, orange and yellow patters around our messages made it hard to read in normal light, but the patterns reflect red light which can pass through the red filter.” – Isla-Mary
