This week Year 5 took part in a class vs class dodgeball game! The children consolidated all of the skills and techniques that they had developed over the past few weeks and took to the playground! It was competitive, energetic and the children had a fantastic match!
We have now finished our class reader ‘There’s a Boy in the Girl’s Bathroom’ and the children absolutely loved it! In English we have been writing diary entrances in character as one of the main characters from the book and the children had a chance to hot seat each other in role this week.
In their Science lesson the children were learning about the different phases of the moon and used Oreo cookies to represent the eight different phases! They seemed to disappear very quickly afterwards and we’re not quite sure where they went…
