Reception ended their first half term with a wonderful Welcome Liturgy.
It was a wonderful occasion shared with Father George who officially welcomed each of the children in our St Joseph’s Family. The children each presented an offering of a fish that they had decorated as a symbolism of how they will be like Jesus’ first followers, the disciples, and how they will also follow in Jesus’ footsteps throughout the St Joseph’s school journey.
The children’s beautiful singing was accompanied by wonderful actions and they all worked so hard to learn and remember the words of our school prayer.
Thank you to all the parents and carers who came to share this special occasion with the Reception children. It was such a lovely way to end a brilliant half term in Reception and are already looking forward to the excitement of next half term.
