This week Blob the missing alien sent us two very important parcels. The first one was an egg to look after after until we can send it back to his home planet. The children spend a long time looking at the egg and wondering what might be inside. When it finally hatched on Thursday we has two baby aliens to look after! They were very little, and a bit slimy!
On Wednesday we had another special delivery, this time it was some space food to try so Blob knew which ones his babies might like. He wanted them to have astronaut food. We tried three different flavors but the winner was strawberry chips.
In math’s this week the children have learnt how to use the Part-Part-Whole model to find different ways to make 6, 7 and 8. They are very confident at using the super number sentence now! They have also been busy completing lots of space number puzzles.
The children have also enjoyed getting all slimy and sticky with our space slime!
