Reception: Sports Day

Sports Day was the highlight of our week, and what a fantastic morning it was! A huge thank you to Mr Grant for organising such a wonderful event.

Reception kicked things off with a running race. We all sprinted to our designated flags and back, and wow, there were some incredibly fast runners!

Next up was the egg and spoon race, where we really showed off our concentration and steady hands. Then came the obstacle course, which put our gross motor skills to the test. We balanced, jumped, and squeezed through hoops.

We also took part in the vortex throw, where we showed off our strength and coordination as we launched the vortex as far as we could!

Our final race was the three-legged race. It truly tested our problem-solving and teamwork skills, and we had such a great time working together to make it to the finish line.

A big thank you to all the parents and carers who came along to cheer on Reception and take part in the fun.
