This week we have been reading the book ‘Pumpkin soup’ and learning all about Autumn. We have been exploring lots of different types of squashes, using describing words to talk about how they look and feel. We then completed some observational drawings and paintings.
We also used our fine motor skills to decorate some large pumpkins with stickers!
On Monday we had a visit from the school Nurse who taught us all about the importance of hand washing. We did two experiments to see just how important soup is! First we put soup on a cotton bud and watched as the pepper moved away from it. Then we put a green liquid on our hand and had to make sure we washed them well to take it all off!
