Our Reception children have grown up so fast! They are now getting ready to go to Year 1, this week they had their first playtime with the KS1 children. They enjoyed the different equipment and having lots of space to run around. They have also been having one lesson a week in the Year 1 classrooms. All children came back to Reception very excited and talking about all the wonderful things they want to learn in Year 1.
On Friday we had a special visit from Montell Douglas, she talked to the children about how she had to overcome injuries while being an Olympian, and how it is important to never give up and to stay positive. We then went outside and join in the a circuits lesson.
