This week Reception celebrated being 100 days smarter. To mark this very special occasion, the children came to school dressed as 100-year-olds. They participated in a range of activities involving the number 100 such as filling the peg boards with 100 pegs, making 100 day crowns and glasses and 100 cube towers.
A highlight of the day was when the children paraded through the school to showcase their wonderful costumes and were applauded by the other children for their achievements over the past 100 days.
Reception ended the day with a 100 themed party and used their party treats to make the number 100.
What a fantastic day we had! Comments such as, “This was the best day ever!” and “I loved that!” filled the air as our Reception 100 year olds left school. We cannot wait to continue with such fun and sharing the amazing progress the Reception children have made over the remainder of the year.
