Tanzanite class had a busy week, taking a trip down each day to Archway Leisure Centre for an hour of swimming. We worked with our instructors who gave us plenty of time to practice our skills. It was a really enjoyable experience. Indigo class—your turn next week!
We took part in a Kahoot Quiz about Anglo-Saxons. What was the name of the King who invited the Anglo-Saxons to Britain? What battle brought an end to the Anglo-Saxons? We were checking their knowledge about our latest topic. Everyone was the winner in this game.

In Spanish this week, we were reviewing our ‘weather’ vocabulary and composing a short poem using this vocabulary. Some brave linguists in Indigo class stood in front of the class to present their excellent work.
Finally, as part of our Cartias in Action focus on Friday, we divided into teams to debate the following statement:
‘Unconditional love – a great aspiration but an unrealistic dream!’ True or false?
What do you think? Both sides came up with very good points but we all remembered that God’s love for us is and always will be unconditional.
